MicroC G™
EOS introduces MicroC G™, a 100% green product for wastewater denitrification
Responding to customer demand for a 100% green product, Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOS) has introduced MicroC G™. MicroC G™ is similar to the company’s original MicroC™ product, but is composed entirely of renewable components. The original MicroC™ product has one non-renewable component (5.5% methanol by weight) that customers sought to remove.
The company worked with many of its long-term customers to field-test MicroC G™ in full scale plants starting in December 2005. Performance is identical to that of MicroC™. The freezing point for MicroC G™ is approximately 18 degrees F versus -4 degrees F for MicroC™, so an important consideration in choosing to use MicroC G™ is storage temperature. EOS will continue to supply both MicroC™ and MicroC G™ products.
