Eric Stoermer (send email)

President & Chief Executive Officer

Eric Stoermer joined EOSi in 2004 after four years as a Chicago-based business consultant for McKinsey & Company, Inc. There he advised companies in the telecommunications, retail banking, and insurance sectors on sales and operations issues. He directed sales and marketing for infoUSA (American Business Information), where he was responsible for managing three operating units. He received a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Illinois and an MBA from the University of Michigan.

Malcolm Fabiyi, PhD (send email)

Chief Technology Officer

Malcolm Fabiyi was previously Group Leader in industrial gas producer and distributor Praxair’s global Water & Wastewater Research & Development group. There, he focused on developing wastewater applications to support growth in Praxair’s pure oxygen and CO2 business. Dr. Fabiyi was instrumental in developing and commercializing technologies related to the optimization of aeration and mixing systems, nutrient removal processes, sludge minimization and digester performance at municipal and industrial wastewater treatment facilities. These technologies have gained widespread market acceptance and Dr. Fabiyi is lead inventor on 4 issued United States patents related to these technologies. He has presented widely at regional, national and international conferences in the water and wastewater area. He has had extensive global environmental consulting experience serving clients across North America, South America, The Middle East and Africa. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the IWA Advanced Oxidation Processes Group. Prior to Praxair, Dr. Fabiyi was a consultant with McKinsey & Company where he assisted companies across a wide range of industries on strategic issues. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Lagos, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Peter B. Hunt (send email)

Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Peter Hunt guides the strategic growth of our sales and marketing team. He brings over 20 years experience building technology-based companies to EOSi, both nationally and internationally. Most recently, he was responsible for global sales and business development for Mesa Imaging AG, a 3D camera systems provider based in Zurich. Prior positions have included EnerTrac, Inc., providing sensor-based data services for the petroleum distribution industry; Fast Flix Corporation, a DVD-to-consumer kiosk network which he founded and sold; and extensive marketing and sales operations experience with Sycamore Networks. Mr. Hunt received a B.S. Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and an M.B.A. from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.

Gary Johnson, P.E., BCEE (send email)

Director of Process Engineering

Gary Johnson is chiefly responsible for helping new and existing EOSi customers to optimally utilize our MicroC™ products. Drawing on nearly 30 years in the wastewater industry, his detailed understanding of plant designs and processes is invaluable to implementing an effective denitrification system. He was most recently a senior project manager with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. (CDM). At the Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection, he was the Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) expert for Connecticut’s implementation of an innovative pollution credit trading program. Mr. Johnson also led the technical review of over 45 advanced wastewater treatment plant nutrient removal projects, valued at over 700 million dollars. His work in developing the Connecticut nitrogen trading program was recognized by Engineering News Record when it awarded him with its 2004 News Maker Award. Mr. Johnson is a committee member on the Water Environment Research Foundation (WERF) Nutrient Removal Challenge issues area team. He also serves on the Water Environment Federation (WEF) Municipal Design Committee. He is licensed as a professional engineer in Connecticut, Maryland, Virginia, Vermont, and the US Virgin Islands. Gary received his Bachelors degree from Southern Connecticut State University. He received his Masters in Civil Engineering from the University of Connecticut, where he currently serves on the Civil and Environmental Engineering advisory board.

Samuel Ledwell (send email)

Director of Technical Development

Samuel Ledwell joined the EOSi team in September of 2003. Sam manages many of the company's technical efforts including product development, internal and external research activities and technical outreach to the water and wastewater communities. Mr. Ledwell also manages the supply chain, production, distribution and quality control of MicroC™ products. Mr. Ledwell oversees pilot testing of MicroC™ products and provides technical assistance to current and prospective MicroC™ users. He previously worked in the department of physical oceanography at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and in the neurology department at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is currently licensed as a grade 4 wastewater treatment operator. He holds a B.S. in biology with a minor in chemistry from Oregon State University and an MBA from Suffolk University.

Steve Marshall (send email)

Director of Marketing

Steve joined EOSi in March of 2010 bringing twenty years of marketing experience to the EOSi team. Steve was a Marketing Manager for AutomaTech, a distributor of industrial automation solutions, HMI/SCADA software, and advanced process controls. Prior to working for AutomaTech, Steve was a Marketing Communications Manager for LMI Milton Roy where he gained experience in the water & wastewater industry. As the Director of Marketing at EOSi, Steve oversees marketing-related projects supporting the customer acquisition and retention process through marketing activities such as content development and distribution, lead generation strategies, database management, public relations, web site design and trade show management. Mr. Marshall received a B.S. in Marketing Management from the University of Massachusetts Boston and an Associate’s Degree in graphic design and illustration.

Erica Latker (send email)

Senior Applications Engineer

Erica Latker brings twenty years of experience in the water and wastewater industries to EOSi. Based in Florida, she has working relationships with engineering firms and customer plants all along the east coast. Previous positions with companies including Parkson, Kruger, and Infilco Degremont have given Ms. Latker a rare breadth of knowledge of treatment processes and operations at industrial and municipal plants that fits well with the EOSi team. She has been a regular presenter at technical conferences, and maintains membership in the American Chemical Society and the Water Environmental Federation. Erica received Bachelors degrees in Biology and Chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Bradley Hice (send email)

BNR Specialist

Brad brings to EOSi a background in municipal wastewater treatment plant design, specific to nutrient removal. Brad was previously an Environmental Engineer for Stearns & Wheler GHD where he designed numerous BNR/ENR facilities including biological reactor systems and supplemental carbon storage and feed facilities. His responsibilities for EOSi include developing sales in the Mid Atlantic region and providing process support for new and existing BNR/ENR clients. Mr. Hice received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Michigan, and a M.E. in Environmental Engineering from the Johns Hopkins University.
