Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOS) is an environmental technology company providing innovative products for the purification of water. The company’s MicroC™ line of products (MicroC™ and MicroC G™) target contaminant nitrogen at wastewater treatment facilities. EOS products currently provide more than 200 wastewater treatment plants in the United States with a safer, more effective, and environmentally sustainable solution compared with other carbon sources such as liquid methanol. In addition, the company offers technical services to help customers optimize the use of its denitrification products. EOS was established in 2003 and is based in Bourne, Massachusetts (Cape Cod). Vice President Research & Development (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – VP R&D will serve as the Company’s primary technical leader and perform the following functions:
- Develop and disseminate body of technical evidence supporting the MicroC™ and MicroC G™ value proposition
- Lead external industry and academic efforts to evaluate carbon sources for denitrification
- Guide the development of new products and enhancements to existing products
- Manage and build the company’s Intellectual Property portfolio
- Support the sales process
Qualifications - Ideal candidates for the position will hold a Ph.D. and P.E. designations and have 10-15 years of experience in the design and implementation of Biological Nutrient Removal systems at municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment facilities. Academic background in Biology, Chemistry and / or Civil and Environmental Engineering desired.
Vice President Sales & Marketing (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – VP Sales & Marketing will lead the Company’s sales efforts, including performing the following functions:
- Establish and manage relationships with channel partners, including chemical distributors and technology suppliers
- Establish and manage relationships with contract manufacturing facilities
- Manage internal sales engineering team and outside channel partners
- Overall responsibility for all sales-related activities
Qualifications - Ideal candidates for the position will have 5-10 years of experience in sales leadership or business development within the water / wastewater treatment industry. Experience with municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment facilities desired. Academic background in Biology, Chemistry and / or Civil and Environmental Engineering desired.
Director of Process Engineering (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – Director of Process Engineering will work primarily with municipal and industrial customers/prospects, consulting engineers and technology suppliers to demonstrate the value of implementing company products. Position will support the sales organization and work closely with the VP R&D in developing and disseminating information to support the Company’s value proposition.
Qualifications - Ideal candidates for the position will hold a P.E. designation and have 10-15 years of experience in the design and implementation of Biological Nutrient Removal systems at municipal and/or industrial wastewater treatment facilities. Academic background in Biology, Chemistry and / or Civil and Environmental Engineering desired.
Sales Engineer (2 positions available) (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – Sales Engineer will manage existing customers and work with prospective wastewater treatment plant clients within industrial, decentralized/package and municipal market segments. Position will provide technical assistance to optimize the use of EOS products within client treatment processes. Sales Engineer will also support and train the Company’s chemical distributors and other channel partners. Position is based in Bourne, Massachusetts but will require travel to nitrogen sensitive areas throughout the Untied States, including Long Island Sound, Chesapeake Bay, Florida, etc.
Qualifications - Ideal candidates will have academic background in Biology, Chemistry and / or Civil and Environmental Engineering and have 3-7 years of experience within the wastewater treatment industry either at an engineering firm, wastewater facility or within a company providing products and services to the wastewater industry. Previous sales experience desired, but not required.
Marketing Manager (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing marketing-related activities at the Company, including management of the Company’s salesforce.com database. Position will manage external communications, including developing and disseminating technical literature (case studies, bulletins, articles, other technical content), managing any outbound marketing campaigns, managing the company’s public relations efforts and its web presence. Marketing Manager will also be responsible for collecting, organizing and prioritizing sales opportunities and work closely with the Company’s sales team.
Qualifications - Ideal candidates will have a background in technical marketing and communications, preferably within companies serving the wastewater industry. Academic background in Biology, Chemistry and / or Civil and Environmental Engineering desired, but not required. Experience with CRM tools like salesforce.com desired.
Office Administrator (send e-mail to inquire)
Responsibilities – Office administrator will be responsible for answering phones, order processing and tracking, inventory management, billing, accounts payable/receivable, human resources and benefits, special projects and sales & marketing support.
Qualifications - Ideal candidates will possess excellent written and verbal communications skills and familiarity with using the Internet. Knowledge of accounting practices and Quickbooks desired. Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) required.
