Environmental Operating Solutions, Inc. (EOSi) is an environmental technology company providing innovative products for the purification of water. The company’s MicroC™ line of products (MicroCm™, MicroCg™, MicroCglycerin™) target contaminant nitrogen at wastewater treatment facilities. EOSi products, used in more than 300+ wastewater treatment plants in North America, are a safer, more effective, and environmentally sustainable solution compared with other carbon sources such as liquid methanol. In addition, the company offers technical services to help customers optimize the use of its denitrification products. EOSi was established in 2003 and is based in Bourne, Massachusetts (Cape Cod).

Inside Sales/Field Support Specialist
- Reports to: VP Sales and Marketing
- Timing: Full-time position, available immediately
- Compensation: Base salary and benefits, plus incentive compensation plan
Key activities:
- Existing customers - Make outbound calls to existing customers to follow-up on orders and customer satisfaction, probe for new business, provide internal assist with order fulfillment and forecasting.
- New customers - Receiving inbound phone calls and inquiries for decentralized prospects and answering questions, addressing concerns, entering data into salesforce.com (new accounts, new contacts, new opportunities), call notes, generate quotes, establishing follow-up activities. Making targeted outbound calls related to decentralized
- Inbound call / inquiry triage - Receive inbound calls and inquiries and either address issue or pass along to appropriate resource for resolution; ensure follow-up
- Prospecting, cold-calling to identify and qualify new industrial and municipal leads, then turn over to appropriate sales or technical resource
- Organize customer data and enter updates / next steps into Salesforce.com
- Provide support to field technical sales organization, including:
- Quote generation
- Coordinate bid responses
- Fulfill information and sample requests
- Customer startup coordination, including management of company's field equipment inventory
- Support sales team on special projects which drive new revenue opportunities
- Attendance at trade shows, particularly regional shows or shows focused around decentralized opportunities
Qualifications:
Sales skills, good attitude, willing to learn, organizational skills, willing to help and contribute as part of team environment, ability to cold call, good communication skills. Knowledge of CRM, specifically Salesforce.com is helpful. Previous wastewater experience helpful, but not necessary.

Senior Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) Specialist –
Western Sales Region
General Responsibilities:
Senior BNR Specialists are part of the Sales organization, managing existing customers and sales prospects for accounts in their Region. Market segments include wastewater plants (industrial, centralized/municipal, decentralized/package), drinking water plants, and groundwater remediation applications. Target customers are plant facilities with nutrient removal requirements. Position will provide commercial and technical assistance to optimize the use of EOSi products within client treatment processes
Specific Responsibilities:
- Primary customer interface – Work directly with customers in responding to any commercial or technical questions. Examples include pre-sale calls, customer visits and product applications development.
- Develop sales pipeline – Qualify and develop new opportunities. Identify and develop responses to bid/RFP/RFI opportunities in the Region. Salesforce.com used as a CRM tool to manage forecast and specific accounts.
- Manage plant pilot trials – Plan, set-up and execute pilot trials serving as primary technical interface to ensure success. Provide on-going support to plant personnel as necessary.
- Close business opportunities – Bring new business opportunities at existing and new accounts to closure.
- Build relationships within Region – Develop relationships within the Region with plant operations groups, professional engineering firms, equipment suppliers, and wastewater regulatory personnel.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have 5-7+ years experience in the wastewater treatment field with a strong background in biological processes, specifically nutrient removal. Demonstrated record of identifying new business and closing accounts is required. Successful candidate must be able to work from a home office with limited direction.
Location, Compensation, Reporting
The Senior BNR Specialist is a full-time position with the candidate working from a home office within the Region. The company offers competitive salaries, potential for a commission bonus, stock options, and health insurance. Positions report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
